It is with deep reverence we commemorate the life and legacy of Robert Dale “Bob” Green, the visionary founder of Green, Klein, Wood & Jones, who left us on the 18th of September 2023.
Born into a loving family in Orange, Texas, on the 9th of October 1952, Bob’s journey was one marked by passion, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
Bob leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 20 years, Tatiana Green, his son Brandon Green, and a brother, Danny Green, along with many friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly.
Bob’s early life was a testament to his enduring love for beauty, the arts, and the pursuit of knowledge. His collegiate years at The University of Texas at Austin not only honed his intellectual pursuits but also nurtured his lifelong love for Longhorn football and the arts.
As we remember Bob, we find comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide Green, Klein, Wood & Jones. His principles, dedication, and the pursuit of justice remain the firm’s cornerstone. Bob’s legacy will endure in the work we do, the lives we touch, and the battles we continue to fight in his honor.
Bob's legal career began in the defense of insurance companies, where he mastered the intricacies of first-party coverage disputes. This foundation laid the groundwork for what would become his true calling: advocating for those wronged by powerful entities.
Bob's pursuit of the law was driven by a deep sense of justice, which saw him excel at The University of Texas School of Law, graduating with highest honors.
In 1988, Bob shifted his focus to represent individuals and corporations in bad faith litigation and insurance disputes, setting the stage for his role as a champion for the underdog.

Bob, along with his partners, earned the moniker "Dragonslayers," a fitting tribute to their fearless pursuit of justice.
